About Me

Hello, my name is Rachael Beal. First thing to know about me: I love to write more than I appreciate everyday activities such as sleeping or breathing. I am a strategic communications major at the William Allen White School of Journalism at University of Kansas, but my minor is creative writing. So, I am writing literally 24/7, and although my friends and family think I’m a little nuts for it, I love it, still.

Writing is something I’ve always excelled at, and hope to continue with in a career. I am already in the process of writing a full-length novel, and continue to be inspired by people everyday. I am always searching for an original way of looking at something, or for a way to write stories that no one have read before. I am known as someone who can take any project that is thrown my way and to create each and every one in the best way possible.

Although I am working on my education at The University of Kansas full time, I am also working as a gymnastics coach. Most of the photography that I work on is of the gymnasts who I guide and encourage in and outside of the gym. I make sure that everything that I do is something that I love to do so that I will always stay interested, and will always be able to show my best work.

I understand the importance of being aware of an audience when it comes to any type of writing, whether it be fiction, media writing, non-fiction, poetry, or any other genre. I always make sure to create every one of my works, using this understanding. I also realize that every person is able to relate with someone or something, and that there is news available and important to a wide variety people. It is also extremely important to create a clear and precise message in each and every story, and every story should be timely. I am able to incorporate all of these traits and more into any type of writing that I do, because I know that they are all crucial in every type of writing.

That is why I like to write a little bit of everything.
